Masa pegi shopping at SOGO with a few friends that i knew not so long ago which I feel that knowing them for many years (tatau lar kenapa), I saw a poster of Anuar Zain promoting his latest album. Spontaneously I thought that I’ve got to have this one. Despite from all the articles by entertainment journalist that he is not being patriotic enough by getting all the songs in his latest album composed by Indonesian composers, I did the contrary; Not that I am not patriotic (patriotic to that journalist’s view is arguable though) but I bought that because I always admire his soulful voice which none of the local singer can imitate…yeah there are a couple of ‘wanna bes’… but it just not the same.Every time I enter my car since the day I bought the album, I never change to any CDs and listen to any radio station, which I normally did. I am so hooked. I don’t know about others but I think what Anuar did was worth and justifiable. I think he spent quite a fortune to get all his song composed… and the quality walla!!! Love it so much!!!!
I've told this to a number of my closed friend I bought Anuar’s latest album, I recommended to do the same.. Yeah there are some responses that asking me to burn and rip the CDs and share it with them… I’m telling you babe, Ohhh My God!! Can you be more pathetic than that…. Go get yourself an original one.. kesian Abang kita susah-susah melalak menjerit dalam studio. Tapi who can say NO to this one nice and adorable friend who work in brickfield and the other one who threatened me if you wanna come to my potluck berbuka puasa this Saturday…must bring the album’. Please my friend in brickfield tangkap my friend in Puchong who threatened me… hehehehehehe. *I am sorry Nuar, I did my part telling them to buy their own copy, but these particular friends are so hard to resist and say NO!
One song that really makes me ‘feeling-feeling’ is the one called ‘KETULUSAN HATI’. I lost count on how many times I repeat the song over and over again just to get the ‘rasa and batin’ … agaknyer bila lar redbox or KTV nak installed lagu nih …so that I can melalak nanti nanti… yea Bub, Jemi, Mamu, Era, Sham, Ijam, Shidee, Roy…. Yea you all. I akan nyanyi lagu nih walaupun koreng mengumpat I kata pitching larikkkkkk ke longkang bagai…. I pedulikan heheheh. Nah terimalar lagu ini ku nyanyi kan khooss untuk kamu semua, especially to you! Ya untuk awak :-) … . Ada yang kata lagu ini bermesej ketuhanan… To me this song is so Istimewa!!

As for me, luv the 1st song in the album, "I'm the lucky one".Tak tau lah this song really memukau to my ear especially kalo the part Anuar sings "I'm the lucky one" la....... sounds cute...... ohh ya satu part yang orang M'sia akan typically crazy about: ala part yang nyanyi pitch tinggi-tinggi tu..... ya towards 85% of this song, "tarikan" vocals anuar memang nice..... tak tau la kalo ade touch up at the studio, Whatever it is, it sounds good......!!!!!! I like the mood and mellowness of the songs.... mcm best, sesuai pembuka tirai of the album..... as u listen its like putting a smile to your face.
I like that song too. I guess which song you prefer, states what emotional stage you are. I reckon you feel so lucky at the moment.I am happy for you :-)
