HARI RAYA TAUN NEH!!

The feel and the excitement of celebrating aidilfitri taun neh, macam kurengg kalu nak di bandingkan dengan taun taun yang lalu. I guess as me getting older… rasa nak berhari raya sakan , tak lah seghairah dulu dulu. (Tapi I still ambik cuti panjang lar baru masuk opis ari neh. Heheheheh so much not enjoying the raya kan). Tapi seriously sometimes I feel that menyambut hari raya as an event that me celebrate because people closed to me celebrate it. So you join the band wagon. The main reason is (apart from me being a muslim) I want to be with my family… my mum, my dad my sister and brothers …. My nieces and nephews…. And certain cousins that I do miss them. I can’t stop to wonder what if my parents dah takde… Will I still ‘enjoying’ the aidilfitri ?

Me being single at 33, raised in the traditional Malay family, having steady career… kalau orang cakap boleh lar nak hidup kat KL,(tak lah mewah tapi boleh lar nak hidup senang sket …alhamdulilllah) one single question never failed pointed at me, is .. ‘bila nak kahwin nehh Ja?’… I wish I could give them the answer… but it just not appropriate, when comes to morale and values. My parents and family gave up asking me the question long time ago… I guess they now just couldn’t care less, of course there are worried about me mending my own life single handedly in KL…. But I once told them… I can handle my life well …it may not be perfect… but don’t worry I handle things quite well.

My aunts and uncles, whenever they came to my parents house… they are the one keep asking me the same question every year… which somehow make me… felt uncomfortable…. But then come to think of it again, it ok, this wont hurt you. Setahun sekali tak pe lar…. It somehow reminds me of cause and consequences of action that you took. What if I get married and what if I don’t get married….

Rains overshadow the aidilfitri taun neh… which is good though. Sejuk sket umah ai… kotidak kalu tengah hari jek punya lar panas. Relative far and near came to visit us the family…some good friends and school mates, visited me, some adding some extra pound of flesh…hehhehehe, (sibaik I maintain) with extra member of the family which is very good things… They seem happy. Catch up on latest news… gossiping other friends… hehehehehe.
